Auditions Scheduled For ‘King Arthur’s Quest’

Auditions will be held for the Missoula Children's Theatre production of King Arthur's Quest at Crockett Civic Center Monday, June 16, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. (noon). All those auditioning should arrive by 10 a.m. and plan to stay the full two hours.

A legal parent or guardian must register each child before they will be allowed to audition.

Most students will rehearse four hours each day, Monday through Friday.Some of the cast members will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following the auditions.

Approximately 60 roles are available for local students. Students in first grade through twelfth grade are encouraged to audition. Students must have finished kindergarten.

There is no guarantee that everyone who auditions will be cast in the play. No advance preparation is necessary. Assistant directors will also be cast to aid in rehearsals throughout the week and to take on essential backstage responsibilities.

Missoula Children's Theatre touring productions are complete with costumes, scenery, props and makeup. The MCT Tour actor/directors will conduct rehearsals throughout the week. There is no charge to be in the production. If cast, participants are required to bring a lunch every day. Lunch will be at 12 p.m.

The performances are scheduled for Saturday, June 21 at 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. at the Crockett Civic Center.king aurthor quest
